Mission

Neighbors Who Care provides free volunteer services such as escort and transportation to medical appointments, and grocery shopping to older homebound elders and chronically ill adults in the greater Waltham community.

Core Values

Compassion, Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, and Holistic Approach to Care.

Founders

The mission of the Sisters of Charity of Montreal, also known as the "Grey Nuns," is to seek out ministries with particular emphasis on elder care and offer assistance to those especially in need. Their mission is in line with the tradition of service and the spirit of their foundress, St. Marguerite d'Youville, known as the Mother of Universal Charity. The Sisters have assisted in establishing "Neighbors Who Care," an inter-faith program that will provide a service to the most vulnerable.
